Martin Batchelar is a London-based composer & arranger.
Recent arrangements feature on albums by Pete Townshend, Cliff Richard & Sheridan Smith. Martin recently finished arranging Rachel Fuller’s ‘Animal Requiem’, including a new string arrangement for the original recording of Paul McCartney’s ‘Blackbird’.
His latest library tracks for Cavendish Music can be heard on ‘Mary Berry’s Christmas Party’, CITV’s 2018 Christmas trailer, and Heineken’s advertising campaign starring Formula 1’s David Coulthard.
He is also the composer for chart-topping comedy podcast ‘My Dad Wrote A Porno’, with over 150 million downloads to date. Following sell-out performances at the Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House, the live show will be filmed for an HBO special in 2019.
Martin was trained at the Royal College of Music. His work has been recorded at Abbey Road, Air and Angel Studios, and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Metropolitan Orchestra and the Boston Pops Orchestra.
